Set for the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup polo championship at Cowdray Park (West Sussex), scheduled for next month, the Veuve Clicquot Comet by British designer Tom Dixon is a gazebo that features a cutting edge design to recuperate the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Polo Tournament. Motivated by the Comete light Dixon designed for the champagne brand Veuve Clicquot’s ‘Out of the Box’ exhibition in Milan, together with the iconic champagne’s comet logo, the trendy pavilion is a reinterpretation of classic design that promises a stylish experience at the Final of the celebrated polo tournament. The limited edition pavilion is installed with the finest of fixtures and fittings, offering a dynamic viewing experience to the spectators. Here is what Dixon says about his design

I had a vision of sitting inside a comet drinking champagne! Foolish, it’s true, but from a construction point of view, the spherical shape is extremely rational in terms of structural integrity, which allows me to use a recycled and recyclable, lightweight material for these temporary pleasure domes, which will look like Veuve Clicquot Comets that have crashed into the polo field.
