Life, tossing up new challenges, is no less than a battle that we have to combat each day, but it is even worse for physically challenged who have to rely on others for their basic needs like cooking or dining. Addressing the issue, designer Fatih Can Sarioz has come up with a kitchen concept, dubbed โCoox Kitchen,โ that meets almost all the cooking and dining requirement of physically disabled. The compact kitchen is fragmented in two sections, i.e. cooking and dining. On one side, the cooking area accommodates a number of drawers and a fridge with a pneumatic system and an electric motor, together with microwave oven, induction cooker that slides up to 120 degrees across the surface, armature and a dish rack, while the other part offers adequate dining area for a small family. Users can move the tap in desired directions to wash hands or dishes.
The Coox Kitchen not just offers a neat and hygienic kitchen for physically challenged, but it adds a refreshing tang to their bleak lives. Though, the kitchen is basically intended for physically challenged, but the able-bodied wonโt mind cooking on the Coox either.
