Open office spaces or floors without room dividers may support better teamwork, but employees also require privacy to hold personal meetings with office staff or clients without disturbing co-workers on the floor. With an objective to better privacy in open office spaces, designer Rainer Graff has come up with a modular unit named the “Loftbox 101” that provides temporary separation or personal space to accomplish confidential tasks. The foldout unit also includes a TFT-monitor for visual presentations at meetings. Finished in GRP casings, aluminum frames and polyurethane upholstery, the Loftbox when unfolded measures 270 x 288 x 142 cm, and when closed it just becomes 250 x 200 x 52 cm. Ideal for mixed-use urban quarters, the modular furniture unit is available in signal white, signal black and silver grey color options.
