Sbarro Autobau concept, weird to the core

Auto shows other than giving a peep into the futuristic mode of transportation just amaze the viewers with some wonderful as well as weird car designs. And the ongoing Salon de Geneves is no different, displaying a wide range of vehicles for different market groups. Presented at the 2010 Motor Show, the “Sbarro Autobau” is a strange, if not utterly illogical, car concept that seems straight out from Star Trek. A tribute to Swiss racing driver Fredy Lienhard, the Autobao generates power from a Ferrari V12 engine, located at the rear, which is capable of producing 500 HP. Weighing about 3,200 pounds, the futuristic car features a low body with clamshell windows behind the cockpit that opens to swallow the passengers.
