Remember Yves Béhar, the man behind the “OLPC” and “Mission One”? If not, the founder of Fuseproject is back with a new green car concept to make life as well as commutation a little better in the developing world. Displayed at the Greener Gadgets Conference in New York, the futuristic car dubbed as “Hackable” or “modular” features an electric base, together with interchangeable parts that could turn it into a multifunctional vehicle, i.e. from a truck into a taxi or an emergency vehicle. Though we don’t have much technical details, including the power source, the modular vehicle gives the glimpse of a green and cost effective mode of commutation.
