If you have intent to make things go your way, small hindrances like budget and workforce cannot restrict you from achieving your goal. This is possibly what NYC-based architecture firm EFGH wants to prove with the Hedgehog, a 15’x15′ performance pavilion finished in a traffic cone skin wrapped around a modular steel frame. Erected by a small team in just about six hours, the pavilion converted the readymade traffic cone from a cautionary symbol to a festive texture, keeping the cost to a minimum. The pavilion staged a number of street performers backed by Virgin Mobile to raise money for youth homelessness. Check out the video after the jump.
