Bowling over the years has attracted many followers and has become a popular sport among regular folks. Cashing the growing popularity of bowling, designer Josh Tuminella, replacing the flat, straight surface, has come up with a circular bowling lane or surface that gives an altogether different dimension to the illustrious sport. Dubbed “Bowler Rink,” the new bowling is intended to be in a lounge-like environment that lets two players play at once, while the spectators can sit or stand around the lane and have a close look on the game. Requiring a bit different technique than traditional bowling, the bowling ball becomes smaller with no finger holes, while the pins are hollow aluminum, gives a different sound to the game.
