Done in a way of art, the Spoonful sharing seat by Filippo Caputo aims to create interpersonal communication between people in public spaces through space sharing. Personally, I don’t like the idea of using another person’s table for my work, but the Spoonful thinks otherwise. The basic idea behind its design is “My seat…your table.” The spoon-like form makes it impossible for the on-sitters to use their own table. Instead, they have to use the neighbor’s table for work. In this way, the people can share their time, space and experiences. It’s some kind of an interactive art project that takes in meeting activities. Share your space and experience new things. This is how the Spoonful is meant to be used.
Thanks, Filippo Caputo
