A student from the University of South Australia might have had a bad experience with the fixed keyboard of his laptop, so he came up with the EvoBook. He claims it to be the next evolution of personal computing, with a prime focus on ergonomics. His project aims to offer an ergonomic solution to the laptop computer through an adjustable screen and keyboard positioning, thereby creating a unique product identity. The keyboard can be detached from the laptop and placed on the workspace to the user’s convenience. It could be further split into two parts for convenient usage. Other salient features of the EvoBook include a 15.5-inch screen, a webcam, an adjustable leg and magnesium/aluminum alloy enclosure. Both the keyboard and the mouse are Bluetooth enabled and operate on a rechargeable battery. The overall design looks inviting, but I still doubt the ease of usage. What do you think of working with a removable laptop keyboard?
