You don’t necessarily have to be a total loon to seat on this stupendously designed sofa. Although tongues might surely wag if you decides to get something like this in your living room! The Twisted Sofa created by Nina Edwards Anker, the lead designer of Nea Studio is one of the more unusual pieces that will be exhibited in the Seating category at the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York between 17 and 20th May. The sofa belongs to the company’s Arctic line with its stunning L-shape integrating daybed as well as a seat. The overlapping design sets the seat apart both in the actual living space as well as the beholder’s imagination and opens up a new dimension of interpretation within the set up. The seats and the backrests are done in both hard and soft foams and the piece is upholstered in a more flexible fabric to lend the seat an overall semblance of elasticity, making it a perfect addition to any contemporary living room setup.
