Do you remember Cyrene Quiamco, the creator of the “Stix” and “DOT” hybrid mobile phones, if not, the creative designer has once again popped up an innovative cellphone concept that makes use of wind and solar power to charge its onboard battery. Dubbed the “Aeolus,” the phone concept lets you charge on the go, reducing the burden on the grid. Integrating a power-generating fan capable of harnessing even the slightest breeze to produce energy, the eco gadget also uses onboard solar panels to recharge the battery. In addition, you may attach the cellphone to your bike or the window of a car with a special tripod to generate sustainable energy. Finished in renewable materials, the Aeolus presents a simple, single color and an energy-efficient LCD screen.
