Adding more to its ongoing chain of successful products, which include the iPhone and the MacBook Air, Apple has now proposed the Tablet Mac. The Tablet Mac comes in a sleek design, with added beauty and durability it gets from the tough chrome-plated aircraft Magnesium alloy. The form of Apple’s new tablet PC will be the slate, meaning it will have no keyboard of its own, unlike the convertible tablet PC; but this shouldn’t discourage those who prefer the keyboard as primary input, since it will be compatible with USB keyboards. For users who’ve come to love the stylus/pen input of tablets, the Tablet Mac will offer all that, plus super graphics to clearly display every nuance of detail. Added onto that is the wide 13.3 inch LCD screen, which offers more viewing area than the average tablet.
The bells and whistles of Wifi, Bluetooth, and CD/DVD combo drive found in most new notebooks also appear here, and for an even louder ring (and more currency), Apple can throw in a GPS antenna. I suspect that those willing to shell $2,199 for the base model won’t mind adding a few more wads to get the GPS capacity. You will definitely getting the power of a Mac to fit in your arm, and I’m sure this is one computer that will be held as delicately and as proudly as a baby.
