Automan 500 subwoofer completed in recycled tires looks awesome

Finalist of the Greener Gadgets Competition 2010, the “Automan 500” by Carolyn Butts and Hans Honegger from Bon Eco Design is an eco-subwoofer that sounds melodious to not only the ears but also the environment. Finished entirely in recycled tires, the speaker cabinet is cushioned by the materials hand-crafted by local artists out of buckles, renewable wheat straw fiberboard and even a bicycle tube that keeps the whole system intact. The Automan 500 other than recycling the discarded materials also greets your guests with an affluent acoustic system.
