Braille Wristwatch tells time more intuitively

Almost all the existing wristwatches for the visually impaired are analog and open the face to let the user feel the time with his or her fingers. In addition, the nine characters (essentially a matrix of 3X18 dots) used to display time in Braille aggravates the problem of the users. Providing a way out, designer Lawrence Kwok has popped up a minimal device, the “Braille Wristwatch,” which removes all unnecessary dots, so the users could focus only on relevant information. Using an altered face of a Diesel digital watch, the new wristwatch reducing the matrix to 4×4 dots (left to right, top to bottom) tells time in a more intuitive way.
