The Nurus-D team has created a very abstract looking desk which still manages to look pretty uncluttered and functional. The Hexa Desk from Nurus, a Turkish office furniture maker has a conventional surface and the conventionality ends right here. How about using carbon fiber, one of the strongest materials available on earth to create this desk? Yes, that is right, Nurus’ designers have created the Hexa Desk completely with reinforced carbon fiber. And instead of conventional legs, the Hexa Desk sports a very unusual design which looks more like one half of a giant suspension spring. The Hexa also features a recess on it’s surface to enable the users to keep a personal computer. If you want to run off and buy this unusual looking desk, you will be disappointed. Sadly, the Hexa is still a design concept which means that you won’t be able to get your hands on one till it makes into commercial production.
