Unveiled at Milan Design Week, the “Cocoon Plan” by designer Rock Wang is an amazing line of furniture that offers 100% natural silk-covered seating to set a fine pattern of “design by nature.” The new line of furniture not only presents a unique and sustainable design but also touts water-resistant capabilities to ensure durability. Finished by silkworms spinning fibers around a bamboo structure, the organic, handmade furniture needs to be hung in the air for about five days to let the silkworms spin a natural cocoon around the structure.
