Mountaineering may let your adventurous spirit loose, but it also poses some serious challenges that at times put the trekkers in difficult situations. Designed by Matthew Hardman, the Compact Alpine Rescue Vehicle (CARV) is a transportation concept to rescue victims in Alpine region. Powered by a hybrid diesel engine, the rescue vehicle runs on a steel-banded rubber track system, with a comfortable air suspension to smooth out the terrain, on the ground. The hybrid vehicle also includes a unique rear platform with a stretcher for loading and unloading patients safely with minimum fuss. Enclosing the driver in the front cabin, the CARV allows nonstop rescue in almost all weather conditions, be it winter or summer.
