Well we’ve seen and read about a hoard of modular furniture to define our stylish contemporary interiors, but how about for a change. The miniature Euro hotel chain, Qbic has done just that with Cubi, a modular bedroom and bathroom which can be disassembled and reassembled anywhere.
Spread within just 23-square-foot the arrangement is parted by a flat screen which has Philippe Starck designed fixtures to make up for a bathroom on one side with the bedroom on the other. The bedroom has a small bar table at the head of the bed to catch up with business on a lappie along with an LCD across the mattress. The arrangement is part of a room that measures 82 to 115 square feet and features everything minus a kitchen. Cubi does fit one’s life in a small space that looks very urbane and stylish.
