Seriously, this looks like one of those weight-check things. Those pieces of dainty furniture that make you think they’ll break into two when you sit on it. But apparently, that is designing for you these days. Sicilian designer Daniele Salafia would like to believe that these chairs are inspired by naturally occurring forms in nature and are entirely made out of wood. This chair right here is called a Londa and was showcased in the much-talked-about event Zona Tortona 2008. I cannot believe that a poor pine tree had to die for this one. The calorie conscious better watch out as this one looks like a potential suspect for some kind of a practical weight joke!
