Although I have never been a great fan of paper bags, paper toys and paper screens simply for the reason that they are not even close to being water/stain/child-proof, I will have to admit I certainly am a sucker for them all. My love for the delicate medium has resulted in me making many a disastrous experiments with it but when I see things like this ravishing SCRIBOman paper table I feel so heartened that I’m not the only paper-loving nut in the world. Created by designer Dejana Kabiljo, the table is made using paper on acrylic and seems pleasurably suited to people with creative fetishes like incessant doodling. The design, which has been a part of the collection of the MAK, museum of applied arts/contemporary arts, Vienna, since 2001, is completely self-destructive and totally biodegradable which makes just the ideal kind of furniture for messy people all around the world.
