Developed for Carapace Design, the “Eco-Friendly Bus Stop” by British designer Luke Forward is a simple yet smart bus stop concept that not only attracts commuters toward public transport but also helps in sustaining the environment. Featuring solar panels at its roof to harness clean energy to power the whole equipment or setup, the digital bus stop also includes a large screen to provide all the information, regarding routes and buses, to the passengers on a finger touch. In addition, the futuristic bus stop provides space to grow plants at its back that creates a natural environment around the smooth, sleek and sustainable public installation.
