Tea making or serving is a ritual in the Asian nations. Adding elegance and zest to the holy practice, designer Jeff Engelhardt has come up with a revolutionary teakettle called “Enso” that incorporates all parts of the tea ritual while carrying more emotional weight than a purely functional object. The percolating teapot is divided into three segments: base, filter and upper compartment. Water in the base passes through tea leaves placed in the filter after it is heated on the stovetop and fresh tea rises through the leaves to the upper compartment, where it is ready to serve. The Enso not just enhances the looks of the cherished houseware, but also promises a refined taste to your cup of tea.
