Commissioned by Ingolfs Kaffebar and created by Christensen & Co., the Tower and music café located at the fashionable Amager Beach is a centre of Copenhagen’s throbbing public culture. Nicknamed the Twister Tower, the tower features a vibrant mix of apartments, music cafes, pubs, restaurants, beach bars and communal activity centers offering them a centralized and popular setting in the city’s culture. By combining the distinctive aspects of both historical and modern architecture, the tower offers a unique perspective on the progression of the Danish society and the mores of modern civilization. All 13 stories of the tower offer a stunning view of the Oresund strait to Sweden as well as the breathtaking skyline of Copenhagen itself.
