I love it how designers can portray even the most abstract of ideas with awe-inspiring sculptures. Like this Fast Vase collection by Rosenthal which apparently depicts the fast-paced and frantic speed of life in the modern times. Gosh! Now this is what I call a vivid image. And to think that this sculpture captures in image what most people would have a hard time even putting in words. The backwards angled spikes shooting off from the body of the vase itself interpret speed in its most instantly recognizable graphic rendition while contrasting the concept of frenzy with an object as immobile and generally disconnected with speed and movement as a vase really highlights the artist’s vision of the monotony of mechanical modern life. Available in various sizes, the Fast Vase retails in the range of £34 to £107.
