Incorporating classic features with a contemporary aesthetic appeal, designer Steve Perdicakis has come up with a multifunctional kitchen/bath accessory that integrates a faucet, tap and vanity basin in a single unit. Hailed as “Faucet Basin,” the vanity basin not just brings different functions together, but also plugs the drain to store water, which can further be recycled or used to flush your toilet or water your plants and garden. The designer has smartly amalgamated modern aesthetics with functional usage to battle the shortage of water in different parts of the world. The Faucet Basin was a finalist, among professional entries, in the Bathroom Innovation Award, held last year.
