Inspired by the discarded off-cuts of tube, designer David Pidcock has constructed a mood light called the “Fracture lamp” that as depicted by its name feature random fractures to spread colored illumination. Made using the sheet polypropylene diffuser, bead blasted and anodized aluminum tube sections, stainless steel fasteners and RP top cap and bulb holder, the recyclable lamp touts a simple construction to ensure minimum energy consumption. Presenting a cylindrical form, the sleek tabletop lamp suspends a low voltage (2.3 watt) LED light within. In addition, the sustainable lamp comes with different size and illumination options to meet your individual needs.
