Located at Culver City, California, the Gateway Art Tower from the Eric Owen Moss Architects is a unique blend of art and architecture. Standing tall at 72 foot, the art tower is essentially a multi-media tower to display art inside and on its digital screen façade. Currently under construction, the tower when completed will host art displays for local residents and workers in the area within, while on the other hand, its outdoor screens other than showing different graphic presentations will also communicate about the Culver City. Right below the grade, the tower also includes an open-air amphitheater. Staggered to correspond to different directions, five circular staircases connect the different levels of the structure, with each level boasting a projection screen to welcome visitors from home and abroad.
