Created by German designer Andreas Goebel, the “Getway” is a foldable vehicle that provides a safe and sustainable alternative to your daily inner-city commutation. Moving on three hubless wheels enclosing aluminum rims, the skateboard-like vehicle includes an adjustable handlebar to ensure better controls on cramped city roads. Users can pull it on its rear wheel while moving across a crowded marketplace or using the public transport. Made in flexible wooden board and fiberglass reinforced plastic structures, the Getway can be used to carry heavy goods up to the size of a crate of beer as well. Measuring 90 x 48 x 90cm (HWL) in dimensions, the skateboard when not in use, folds into a compact size (H18cm W40cm L90cm) for easy storage and transportation.
