Next time you go to a restaurant don’t be surprised to see a couple of cigarettes lying on your table. They are actually salt and pepper shakers, called ‘Flavor Country’, designed by Myan Duong. Of course, these cigarettes and the ashtray look very classy. The transparent stem reveals the contents and you need not shake pepper on your food when you want to shake salt. But a point to ponder upon is your reaction. If you are anti-cigarettes like me, the pepper in the shaker will remind you of cigarette ash and put off your appetite. But if you are pro-cigarettes, holding one of these shakers in between your fingers will give you a thrill that is best explained by a passionate smoker. You can use a ‘Flavor Country’ cigarette on your dinner table at home too.
