Made of sustainable materials, including corrosion-resistant aluminum tubing, rubber and recycled polypropylene, the Guarden is an “all-in-one” retractable fence for an everyday backyard garden that not just saves your plants and vegetables from animals but also lets you go green. The brainchild of US-based designer, Louis Filosa, the Guarden fence stands 40″ tall and 10″ in diameter, and can be erected with minimum fuss. All you have to do is plant the base in one corner, apart from planting a pole at each corner, and secure it with the embedded stakes. When you return to the base, lock in the final pole with the embedded spring-loaded button, which also works as an easier entry and exit to the vegetables, while the top semicircle becomes the handle for easy transportation to and from the shed. The tube frame allows metal stakes to lie within, which means no misplacing the stakes, and they are easier to push into the ground with your foot. In short, the Guarden is a smart and sustainable way to protect your garden from offensive intrusion.
