Reviving the conventional Asian mode of transportation, the rickshaw, designer Enoch Morishima has come up with a hi-tech concept that utilizing Honda’s range of technology seems to take the rickshaw to the robotic age. Designed to rule city centers and making them worth living in, the Honda-sponsored design is a cheap and efficient public transportation system that would provide efficient commuting in downtown Malaysia. Pulled by a robot capable of interacting with the passengers, the “Honda Rickshaw” features the pod as used in those conventional rickshaws, with the exception that it can be detached from the rickshaw and attached to another transport medium as a trailer.
