If your cellphone is making it difficult for you to handle its multiple configurations, here is a creation by Sacha Bruk and Michael Burger that reducing all complicated features of your phone, just focuses on the main functions – calling, searching, saving and ringing off. Featuring three functioning modes: standby (when closed), phone book (open to 90 degrees) and phone (opened to 180 degrees), the “Ion” focuses mainly on elderly people. Easy calling is facilitated by just opening the handset to 90 degrees, selecting the contact and making the call by pivoting the case to 180 degrees. The three modes allow you to fully open the phone to answer the call. In order to save the number after the chatter is over and to reach the phonebook, you are just required to pivot the upper case to 90 degrees. A scroll wheel aids you in navigating and a big button enters your choices in the menus. Providing ease of use and interaction, the handset is quite appealing.
