Modern gadgets featuring sleek and stylish design are giving contemporary ornaments a run for their money. Designed by Italian designer Stefano Merlo, the “Jewel” is a Bluetooth headset that as indicated by its name can be worn around the neck like a necklace. Comprising two pieces, the microphone and the earpiece, the headset works wirelessly via Bluetooth. Presenting easy functions, the exterior of the earpiece (technogel button) turns green to indicate an incoming call, and the user can put the earpiece on the ear and push the green technogel button to receive the phone call. After receiving the call, the green LED button turns red, and you have to push it again to end the call. And when you are done with the calling, you may put the earpiece back on the microphone to bejewel the precious necklace.
