I love music in any form, but that doesn’t make me go head over heels for every musical instrument. For instance, I love the romantic notes from a piano, but ironically, piano tops my list of hated musical instruments. The reason is anyone’s guess – it’s bulky frame with too many corners and blunt edges. And I’m sure I’m not the only one who is disturbed by this turn-off factor of the piano. Luckily, we have blessed souls like Professor Luigi Colani to take care of the situation. The German designer and aerodynamics expert teamed up with renowned German piano maker, Schimmel Pianos to create the K 208 Pegasus – an oval piano. A little bit of positive interference from the master designer has resulted in a sophisticated piece of art that no one can loath or despise. Well, that takes care of all my worries. But that’s not all, the K 208 Pegasus promises much more than this. It also comes equipped with an integrated piano stool and an electrically-driven lift mechanism that silently raises or lowers the top. Now, that certainly calls for a celebration.
