Conceived by Finnish designer Krisztian Griz, the “Land Yacht” is a vehicle concept that makes use of conventional boat sails to harness wind power for propulsion. Made using molded plywood and carbon fiber reinforcements at critical structural points, the sustainable vehicle presents three-wheeled configuration with rear wheel steering. Featuring an aerodynamic body, the zero-emission concept can run up to four times the speed of the wind to allow brisk commutation. Measuring 3900 x 3050 x 3200 mm (LWH) in dimensions, the Land Yacht presents a broader wheelbase (about 2500mm) to ensure better traction on the road.
