Exploring the architecture and landscape of the Art & Landscape Center on the island of Vassivière, situated in the middle of an artificial hydro-electric lake, French architect Nicolas Dorval Bory teaming up with Emilie Faline has designed “le temps des environements,” which basically is an artist residency and extension of the center. The structure makes use of the concept of “de spatialisation” and “blurring architecture” and slowly dissolves into fragments, lines, dots and then mist, allowing the visitors experience its temporal dimension as the geometrical dimensions fade away. Presenting a deep study of time in architecture and landscape, the invisible structure lets you feel the fourth dimension of the architecture.
