Combining two common objects (speaker and lamp) used almost in every home, German designer Andre Diekneite has come up with an innovative device that illuminates your place while buzzing your favorite soundtrack at the backdrop to set the mood. Hailed as “lslmp2,” the speaker lamp features a flexible arm made in rubber to create different interesting light situations with ease. Reflecting a unique association of sound and light, the multifunctional device includes a subwoofer, finished in dark veneer with a chrome strip in the front, which becomes an amplifier with an integrated USB port and an IFR sensor to allow easy controls with the remote. Bringing out the subwoofer from its dark places under your desk, the lslmp2 offering better sound quality takes the center place in the room. Measuring 40cm in diameter and 35cm in height, the subwoofer comes accompanied with two satellite speakers (13 x 15cm in high and diameter respectively) to enhance your acoustic experience.
