Recycling old computer parts, American designer Brian has come up with an innovative timepiece named the “Hard Drive Circuit Board Desk Clock” that apart from being a functional gadget also helps in reducing the electronic waste. Using the circuit board from an old 3.5″ SCSI hard drive, the recycled desk clock runs on single AA battery (included) to allow a brand new quartz clock movement, while an old RAM has been epoxied to the bottom that creates a solid base to keep it stable on the table. Priced at $15, the sustainable table clock could be an ideal gift for a geeky friend.
