Open Office shed allows an economical yet sustainable workplace

open office shed 01

Designed by Belgian designer Kenny Vanden Berghe, the “Open Office” is a minimal workplace that employs eco-friendly measures to add sustainability to your work. Dividing the workplace in three different sections, living/meeting area, working area and utility area, the office shed harnesses solar power, by integrating photovoltaic panels on the roof, to fulfill its energy requirements. Featuring big windows to make use of natural light and ventilation, the sustainable office includes a water-tank to collect and recycle rainwater for the toilet and bathroom use, while wood-burning stove provides economical heating and creates a cozy atmosphere within.

In addition, the shed presents movable wooden panels, located on a railing system, to provide extra shading, isolation and intimacy. In short, the Open Office provides an economical yet sustainable workplace that helps you reduce your carbon footprints.
