Winner of the Tutto Bene competition in the category of sustainable gadgets, the “Power Ball” by Dutch designer Philippe Holthuizen is an average power box, but with a little twist. Featuring a central on/off button to power a number of gadgets simultaneously, the power box keeps a constant eye on the power consumption by the connected devices that the user can measure with the changing color of the box. The Power Ball makes users aware of power spending, or wastage for that matter, urging them to disconnect or switch off the devices that not required at that point of time.
