Inspired by the simple principle of how light reflects from droplets of dew on a leaf in the morning, Riflessi by designer Yana Klimava is a conceptual lighting fixture meant to maximize the quality of light, while using minimal materials. Riflessi is functional both during the day and at night. During the light hours, the fabric collects the light, while the mirror ‘droplets’ maximizes the room light coming from outside. However, during night hours the Riflessi light acquires a new look, with the LED fabric emitting light onto the mirror ‘droplets,’ creating a beautiful light and reflection patterns. The user can personalize the light fixture by arranging the mirror ‘droplets’ in different ways on the LED fabric, getting a new pattern of beautiful light every time. Riflessi, available in many colors, is essentially a decorative light that creates a unique relaxing mood while consuming minimal energy. Riflessi utilizes LED fabric (already available in the market) and mirrors. While batteries power the LED fabric at this point, but the final product will utilize solar-powered light, adding a green touch too!
