Time never stops for anyone……and same is the case with blogging! For us, blogging can never stop too. So here I am fusing both these incessant yet essential elements of my life by penning down a few words about the Time Ring. This futuristic concept of time telling device is a wrist based entry to The Future of Time Competition. It looks like a band that can adorn your wrists or the neckline. Designed by John Karatzas from Greece, it features a ring with light beams radiating from the inner perimeter to represent the hands of a clock. And designed to obey its master’s voice command, the empty space in between becomes filled with a hologram that may take the form of a digital clock or any image the user chooses.
The circle serves as a pared-down reference to a traditional watch face. Intended to be crafted from some alien material from another planet (has John booked himself on some space shuttle trip?), it is hoped to inherit all the best properties that would do no harm to our environment. Ah, and just when you were thinking about how to juice this space-aged time teller, let me tell you that is could be powered by oxygen, air or even the user’s body heat.
