Dubbed as “Powersports for Board Riders,” Scarpar is the closets thing to a hoverboard; not quite as expensive (I presume) and closer to reality. Its creators have made available for us a nice little video, along with some images, to enable us to embark on our own private fantasies, atop the Scarpar of course. Scarpar is shown in all its glory, hovering just clear of the ground on all kinds of terrains: sand, snow, even off-road. The Aussies behind the project have been developing it since the 90s – in partnership with EDAG Australia – and their project seems close to fruition. They are hunting for capitalists and the video is sure to attract many enterprising souls; at least I sure hope so. Jump to get a taste of what this device is all about.
