Nature has always remained a great source of inspiration for artists and designers. Taking a leaf out of the vast storehouse, designer Camillo Vanacore, together with the D’arc Studio, has popped up with an innovative lighting system that not just boasts a unique look but also allows users to go green with the embedded sustainable technology. Called “Sinthesya,” the new lighting system presents a beautiful leaf-shaped design that possibly is inspired by the chlorophyllous photosynthesis found in the leaves of plants. The Sinthesya also features photovoltaic panels that juice it up in the sunlight, apart from protecting the lamp from moisture. Moreover, the eco-supportive lamp can be used as both an indoor and an outdoor lighting system.
