Spam Architecture: Spam mails as art?

spam architecture

So its spam again, eh? The kind of junk that fills up spam in my mailbox will put any maiden to shame. It is needless to say I don’t think twice before hitting that ‘delete all’ button. However, Spam architecture has given me something unusual to think about. It shows that inspiration may be drawn from anywhere, even those pesky spam emails. Images from Spam Architecture are basically generated by a computer program. Taking the junk mails as inputs, this program transforms the keywords, patterns and rhythms of the same into 3-D models. Alex Dragulescu is the genius behind this conception and it is quite clear that he reads through most of the junk that comes across his way. Good for him, I’d say!
