Conceived by Dutch designer Han Koning, the “Static Plastic” is a lighting series that makes use of “random thermo forcing,” a new technique to heat and bend plastic into different shapes. Finished in opaque white PETG, randomly-formed plastic, the series includes a pendent lamp that comprises two bulbs and a small table lamp with one bulb. Each lamp features a different shape, height and length, and the two halves of the lamp are fixed by a rubber strip. Users may choose between a hanging and standing version according to the decor of their place.
