Chinese designer Zhu Fei has come up with a way to make cooking more of, how shall I put it, blast! His Spice Gun offers a therapeutic way for ex-killers, recovering hired assassins along with the general public to channelize their energies through the more constructive pastime of cooking. When you pull the trigger, the air gets compressed into the airbag making the handspike push the bottom of the seasoning bottle which in turn causes the nozzle to retract and you can then spray the seasoning directly onto your dish. Sounds great. My only hope is that when you spray the ground pepper onto a bowl of hot curry, the force of the gunshot doesn’t make it bounce back into your eye!
