Theft-proof transformer scooter

xo
What kind of a person steals a scooter from a public parking lot in broad daylight? I don’t know, but I’m sure the makers of this transformer-like scooter sure have had their stolen enough times to come up with this prototype that makes it virtually un-stealable, if that is really a word! It is called the XO Move and it is the brainchild of a group of designers that include Camile Baron, Damien Grossemy, Josson Thomas and Kevin Lecoutre. What the XO basically does is that its lid-like cover closes up when parked making it impossible to be ridden away without its official key and can carry two people with a lot of ease thanks to its variable wheel base that makes it more stable on the roads. The catch is, though, that with the giant flip cover rounding up the rear, you can never invite extra friends to join you on a drunken joyride across the park and it really won’t help you speed up in an impromptu drag race on the freeway either.
