You know I always thought time machines were meant to be these powerful super machines that could bend physical boundaries like time and space and allow us to travel back and forth in time. But apparently designer Charles Blanca missed out on being conditioned by countless movies and television series growing up and created this time machine called “Madeline” based on his studies linking senses and memories.
Though personally I’m not quite sure how this thing is supposed to work, the designer says that the concept “offers to help us find the smells we have lost because of the evolution of our living environment. In a convivial place, everybody will be able to experience a creative immersion in a time-traveling capsule.”
So basically the thing is a giant perfumery that will introduce you to scents you’ve never smelt before and hopefully, just hopefully it will make you think of something you smelt as a kid! Er, will somebody lend this unfortunate man DVDs of the “Back to the Future” series please?
