We really need a snooze or a short break during extended work sessions on a desktop or study table to relax our body and mind, but conventional chairs usually don’t allow an easy posture to comfort the user. Norwegian designer Miray Oktem has developed a chair concept that supports your body to rest in comfort. The “Twist Chair,” as the designer hails her design, supports the body in upper chest and the forehead, so the users could ease out the physical as well as mental stress. Extending toward the support to create a saddle-like shape, the seat can extend up to 600mm and allow an adjustable height to rest you in an almost standing sitting position. You may also change the angle between the support and the seat anywhere between 90 and 135 degrees with minimum fuss. While the chair slides on a rail, as soon as the user leans forward, to keep the balance of the chair.
